Techmarine (but not as standard)

Hi everyone its the Ginger Kid again.

This time i wanted to show off one of my techmarines that i made up from spare parts, a franken-techmarine if you will. It actually came about while i was looking at the head from a ravenwing biker and i just thought it looked like a techmarine should look (for dark angels anyway).

TO THE BITZ BOX CAVE er i mean i got my bitz box out and had a rummage through and came up trumps. I found a chaos back pack which i used because of how arcane and well....... techy it looks compared to the loyalist ones, so off came the exhaust stems to make it look more imperial and i also shaved off the naughty arrow. Now for the servo arm, i used the grabby claw bit from a spare servitor arm i had and a spare servo arm (minus the end bit of course, as i had to cut it off for another techmarine conversion i did a while back, but that's for another post). For the body i used the one you get with a tank kit for the gunners and just bog standard legs that i had spare. Then it was the arms, well as luck would have it, when i bought the cool looking techmarine without the helmet i got 4 (yes four) right arms with it (2 bolter and 2 auspex) so as you can imagine i was quite a happy chappy. So the spare bolter arm went on, and for the power weapon i used the dark angel power maul arm thats pointing, but i cut off the maul "GASP. BUT WHY JAMES" I hear you cry, well because Carl had bought himself a pack of steam punk weapons from max mini and didn't like the swords (god only knows how you cant like them.......... weirdo) so he gave them to me (OORAH) so that replaced the maul and well that's that really.

Oh and just as a little designers #cough bodger's cough# note, pinning the grabby claw hand thing onto the thin servo arm was a royal pain in the *$@~#+=  <- insert swear word of choice here.

Leave a little feed-back if you can be bothered...........please

So till next time Oorah

Yeah yeah i know its not a great paint job but its only the 2nd mini i've ever painted and i'm happy with it so that's all that matters in my book.
